King of the kill is one of the two games that came from the split of the pre alpha game H1Z1 from Daybreak Productions and Sony Productions. It is a last man standing race against time game type in witch you parachute into the map with nothing but the clothes on your back and a handful of bandages. It is up to you search and find weapons to hunt and kill your opponents and keeping on the move from a wave of green toxic gas breaking the map down to a smaller and smaller section to become the sole survivor.

H1Z1 Team Battles
Before you get a chance to drop into the world of a battle royal you are put into a loading zone, you will definitely meet some strange people in the loading zone but the best feature that daybreak has implemented is the ability to mute all. This is also where you have the opportunity to load out your character with skins that you win when placing 1st to 10th in a battle royal. Alternatively you can buy crates from the in game marketplace as well as the keys to open them to unlock unique skins. Each month there seems to be a new crate dropped with different themes. H1Z1 has recently stopped the ability to sell these skins on the steam market place but you can still trade them with friends.
Since its release on the 18th of February this year as a stand-alone game the title has been plagued with problems coming from each patch it has received. One such patch saw the population of the game half for up to 3 weeks before a hot fix was implemented. One would think that each patch would be tested fully before rolling out to the general public, after all they have test servers for this very reason. Also with there main rival Bohemia being scrutinized for the same issue in their title Day Z.
That being said the game is still extremely fun to play and is one of very few games that has you on the edge of your seat, hands sweating and adrenaline pumping at every action packed second. The feeling you get for making top five hugging the gas trying not to be spotted in hopes the others kill one another so you can rain supreme is like like no other.
The key features that stand out for me was just how good the environment look s and feels. The player animations are so smooth and really reflect actual human behavior, the walk, run, reload and mostly the girl of the players body when getting hit. Throwing a upper cut and actually seeing the other players head whip backwards is a really nice touch and shows just hoe in-depth the developers went with this game. The sound effects are spot on, the ambiance in the middle of a forest when everything is so quiet and out of nowhere you hear a bird chirp adds a bit of class to the game.
In conclusion this is a fun game to play solo or rock out in the team battles with strangers of a bunch of friends. I will see you all in the loading zone.
